In light of the new location and activity on the Pruitt list, I wanted to share my line of Pruitt's. My g-g-grandfather, James Pruitt was born in Ohio, moved to Indiana where he married, and later moved to Iowa where my g-grandparents, William Kenworthy PRUITT and Annie Matilda (HARRIS) PRUITT, lived. William and Annie PRUITT moved on to Kansas where their children were born and raised. They returned to Iowa, and my grandparents, Edward PRUITT and Elizabeth (Bessie) JOHNSTON met and married. Edward and Elizabeth moved on to Idaho where they raised their children. My father, Arthur J. PRUITT was their youngest., married Mary Ella BEESON and raised us in Oregon.
