Hi To All, I'm glad to see the Pruitt list go back up since I subscribed the day the spammer hit and never got the opportunity to meet any Pruitt researchers. I am a beginner at genealogy, though my husband's family voted me their historian at one of the reunion business meetings. (I did have alot of information on their family, but that was thanks to his grandmother who lived to be 96 years old and never threw a scrap of paper away and allowed me to have access to it). And as far as the Pruit, (one "t") family, I have been lucky to have the groundwork of A.R. Pruit MD who published the book "The Search for David-A Study of the Pruit Family" and oral tapes my grandfather Chester Allen Pruit made before he died. I have a long way to go though to put "meat" on the "bones" of my family tree. I am looking forward to meeting other Pruit's (or Pruitt's) and will be happy to share any information I have.
