I am still looking for any clues about my elusive g-grandfather, (given name unknown) PRUETT, b.c. 1842 Arkansas, d. late 1885/early 1886 probably Houston Co., TX. He married Alice SHIFLET (b. 1866 Houston Co., TX) c. 1885. My grandfather, Abram Smith "Jack" Pruette, was b. 31 Mar 1886 after the death of his father. Thank you very much.
