Unfortunatly the only information I have is that my Great Grandmother Sara Martha Beasley married James Madison King, October 15, 1887 in Shelby County Texas. They later moved to Cleburne Oklahoma and are both buried there. I have no idea who Martha's parents were or where they came from. Was wondering if you have any aditional information on the Beasleys. What struck me funny about your web page is also the name of Beck. My mother always referred to my Great Grandmother as Martha Beck Beasley. I don't know why. Another coincidence: On my husbands side of the family, I am researching the surnames of Pruitt and Ledbetter. Pruitt on his dads side; Ledbetter on his mothers side. The Ledbetters were from Scott County Tennessee. The Pruitts were from the south also. I have traced back to Robert Augusta Pruitt born September 6, 1856 probably in Mississippi. He married Amanda Mahala (maiden name unknown) born April 16, 1854 in Louisianna. They had eight children and lived in Missouri for a while. If anything sounds familiar let me know, Thanks Sue in CA
