I have a Mahala Pruitt in my family tree though not a direct descendent. Mahala Pruitt, b. 1827 probably in Kentucky. Her parents were Stephen Pruitt, North Carolina and Naoma Moore, b. 1802 in Tennessee. Stephen and Naoma were married on 5/24/1822 in Knox County, KY.
