Hello Everyone, I have brand new PRUITT information. I'm posting to see if anyone recognizes my family. My ancestor is William (Willis or Bud) W. PRUITT, b. 1857 in TN. He died around 1934 in Dyer Co., TN. (I have been unable to locate a burial place.) It has been thought that he was the son of Ben PRUITT and Eathea SUMMERS, but that appears incorrect. William appears to be the son of Unknown PRUITT, b. in NC. and Missouri Unknown, b. 1827 in TN. Unknown PRUITT appears to have married a second time to Ruey A. Unknown, b. 1836 in KY? I first find this family in 1870, in Obion Co., TN. In 1880, William is in Weakley Co., TN with his first wife Amanda Unknown STEELE and son Joseph PRUITT. 1891-1910 he is in Dyer Co., TN. He married second, Amanda E. FISHER (my line), and third, Martha Ann FISHER. William's siblings are: Nancy, 1845 Thomas A., 1850 Edward E., 1852, m. Mary W. Unknown Rollo J., 1855 Susan A., 1861, m. J.J. SLAUGHTER John R., 1863, m. Tennie BARNETT? Wylie P., m. Lydia (Liddie) E. SMITH Martha A. (Telie, Tela), 1868, m. J.J. SLAUGHTER Brother or cousin: T.N. PRUITT, m.
