Do you mean an Anglo-Scot who was transported to Ulster Ireland where they became known as Scots-Irish? The word "Scotch" kinda threw me......never knew we were ever called that.<grin> Anyway, if Anglo-Scot, do you have an idea what part of Scotland, borders perhaps? My mother-in-law, who is the Pruitt, swore it was French, though I've not been able to trace it. Susan
