In researching Jacob Pruitt, b. 1761 VA, d May 14, 1845, Walker Co., AL; m Nancy Agnes Richey, I came across the web site for New Prospect Cemetery in Haleyville, Winston Co., AL. I thought other descendants might be interested in this web site so here it is: ftp://ftp.rootsweb.com/pub/usgenweb/al/winston/cemeteries/newprospect.txt The inscription which is listed under the "East Side" of the cemetery reads: "Pruet, Jacob 1761-1845 Tenn.
