I have a British Consulate death certificate from England for James FULTON died 4 Apr 1855, Fundal, Madeira. Unfortunately the death certificate told me very little. Can anyone tell me if there would be any records in Madeira of his death and if it's possible to find out where he might be buried, if he was buried in Madeira.James was the Rector of Normal Seminary, Edinburgh. We are not sure why he would be in Madeira, I suspect it may have been for health reasons but not sure. Would appreciate any help.
