I have a note that Afonso and Constanca's son a Martim Afonso Charneca was the Bishop of Porto e da Braga. Patricia, Like Miguel I believe that if can trace your family to the late 1400's in Madeira we are related.  But, dear cousin, this summer in Porto Santo we will raise a glass to your health and our common ancestors,  lords of Porto Santo. Thanks for the additional information .I didn't have that.
