They may be as follows: Manuel Fernandes Pombo married Joana Mendes da Encarnação (did she change her name to Barbosa?) in 1904. This is the only Manuel Fernandes Pombo married to a Joana in Ponta do Pargo and for that matter in the whole island. António Fernandes Pombo married Maria Clara de Jesus in 1910. Same age?
