I read (in their site) that ARM Madeira is signing a protocol with Family Search. But as selling copies from the archives is also a source of income for them they'd be quite suicidal IMO if they give that for free- On another hand voluntary work by FS is quite commendable, however, voluntary people are not professionals. And many times this shows in their transcriptions, which look frequently amateurish and induce people in error. (Like Bad spelling, bad transcriptions, of names, places, and even dates out of the documents). Of course things can improve, though you can not invent people who decode and decipher from scratch.
