Wow- what a firestorm over a number :-) !!!! The message was on a postcard mailed from a friend visiting Lisbon mailed in June 1969. The entire message was: "Greetings from Lisbon. This is a very beautiful city. Pestana, Damiao Eleuterio 3.3 Pc 1 Faial (L-1) or (6-1) 5.03.67 You were right. He is in the phone book." (signed by my father's friend) Thank you for checking the current directory for me. I suspected he was long gone but one never knows. Mary da Silva Frost
That is kinda odd that it was sent in 1969 and then has the 67 date. No wonder you thought it was a phone number. I still think that is a date, maybe it took him two years to mail it. Sounds like something I would do!! And, by the way, that was not a firestorm, it was a friendly disagreement :^) Luis Beal tiamaria <tiamaria@frostdesign.com> wrote: Wow- what a firestorm over a number :-) !!!!
