Greetings all, Just wanted to drop you a line to let you know that Family Tree DNA announced yesterday that they've purchased genetic genealogical testing company, DNA-Fingerprint: http://www.familytreedna.com/pdf/Press-release%20DNA_Fingerprint.pdf DNA-Fingerprint does extended marker, forensic, as well as other specialized DNA testing. See the following ISOGG chart for examples: http://www.isogg.org/extractionchart.htm Regarding the "batch discount" that's listed on the chart, the deadline for the last DNA-Fingerprint batch is July 25. This is GREAT news for Family Tree DNA clients since we'll have a broader range of products to choose from, along with being able to compare results from different sources in the same database.
