Karen : I was interested in your Jardine line. My Manuel Gaspar Drummond family came form Maderia on the same ship Hankow, but in the year 1883 on July 9th. Manuel was married to Maria Pestana de Vasconcellos. They had a family of Maria, Ephigenia( Virginia), Cecelia and Julian lived in Hawaii around Hilo. Julian married a Jardine. I don't know his first name. they had the following children-Louis, Belina, Minnie, Jacob, Adeline, Stephen, Nettie and Florence. I'm sure there are a lot of Jardine's but thought they might be related through a brother or something. Do any of these anmes look familar who lived in Hilo and might have moved on to California? Jose emigrated from Madeira to Hawaii on March 21, 1884, about a year after his brother Antonio and his family came to Hawaii. I don't know what happened to him or his wife.
