As many of you who order microfilms at your local FHC, you know of the price increase that occured earlier this year. In order to save some of us money, I would like to ask if we, as a group, would be willing to do "look-ups" for others who might not have certain films where family might be found. I know how frustrating it can be to look for the marriage of a couple, order film, and then discover they are not found on that one film. It would save all of us money if we knew someone else who might have access to a film/village at their disposal (indefinite loan) who could look up a date for us. Therefore, I would like to let the LIST know that I have the following films on indefinite loan at my local FHC (Family History Center) and I would be delighted to look up any family for you. In turn, I hope you will also share with the LIST what you have access to. Thank you Linda. I think that is a wonderful idea. I want to go to the FHL but the trafic is so fast and dangerous on the freeway next to it that I have hesitated to do so. There are films I want to reorder to search what I missed earlier. Will print out your list and place it in a very special place.
