    3. Linda, this is a wonderful idea. I just checked with the Oakland Family History Center, and only two of the many films that I ordered years ago, on "indefinite loan," are still there. It's based on usage, if the films remain at a given FHC, even if one has paid the "indefinite loan," fee. Since we moved away, I haven't kept track of them, but if anyone does research at the Oakland Temple FHC here's what I was told on the phone is still there. Film # 1153985 - Casamentos Igreja da Espirito Santo Calheta, Madeira 1860-1911 Film # 1111027 - Resumos da Casamentos Igreja da Espirito Santo Calheta 1861-1914 item 2. If list members will post the names of individuals that they are researching from Madeira, I can check what I have in my computer from the many pedigree charts that Sr. Luis de Sousa Mello, the retired Director of the Madeira Archives prepared for me. Willing to share whatever I have. It is through sharing that leads to finding "familia." Thanks to Linda, who just linked me with a distant cousin that resides in New Bedford MA.
