I am looking for information about a place named Pinheiro which is situated near Arco da Calheta, Madeira. Baptism documents for various relatives baptized in the Church of Sao Braz, Arco da Calheta, show that they were residents of Pinheiro which I'm guessing is within walking distance of the church. Where is Pinheiro in relation to Arco da Calheta? Can anyone tell me about this place and its history? D. Rodrigues
