Paulo it good to have you back I notice you list of family you have a Camacho in Stº António I am doing research on from that village. My grandfather is from there his last name is Camacho. Jose Pereira Camacho. Do you have anything with Pereira Camacho in you line? Bob Camacho searching the islands of Terceira for da Costa, and Evangelho, Graciousa for Reis, and Madeira for Camacho
Hey Bob, Pereira Camacho is a well known family here, but there are a few of them so you'll have to be more specific. I know one family that currently lives in Chamorra (we call it the boat house, as they used to feature a ship made with lights during Christmas, using the shape of their balcony). Another branch I know is one of my aunts by marriage, I guess those lived near S. Roque, tough I'm not sure. I seem to recall also a Pereira Camacho family living at Casas Proximas, near the Church, when the pneumonic plague came into Stº António in the early years of 20th century. They appear on the list of the affected, if I well recall, on the little book about the Parish of Stº António by Pde. Augusto da Silva. If you provide me more data perhaps I would be able to find more.
