A while back the archive moved to another part of town. It is in a big new building. I checked online and the new address is: Caminho Dos Alamos, No 35 Santo Antonio 9020-64 Funchal I have 3 marriage index books I bought from them while I was in Madeira: #1 which includes Concelho do Machico: Nossa Senhora de Conceicao-Machico, Sao Sebastiao- Canical, Santa Beatriz- Agua de Pena and Nossa Senhora do Guadalupe-Porta de Cruz #3 which includes Concelho do Funchal: Santa Luzia, Santa Maria Maior and Sao Pedro #6 which includes Concelho do Funchal: Nossa Senhora do Monte, Sao Goncalo and Sao Roque I am currently working with microfilm for Canical. I have the film on loan for a few weeks. I also have some films from NS de Conceicao, Machico on long term loan. If there is something specific I can look up for someone, please let me know. A question for those of you who have seen the Madeira marriage index books referenced below. What information is displayed for each couple in the index? Are the names of the witnesses displayed? The names of the groom's parents and the names of the brides parents? Thank you. D.
