Thank you David. The two locations that you noted are better than what I had come across on the Internet. I was hoping to find information about the history of this town. I became intrigued by the write up in the Armorial Lusitano for the surname (Corveira), and the mention of Portugal and Spain. but most of all the mention of the surname of Corvera. Corvera is how the spelling of my Hispanic husband's surname (Corbera) appeared on his father's birth record, from Momax, Zacatecas, Mexico.
