Although this website might sound like a good idea I would like to caution anyone who uses it to beware of its information. Because the information has been taken out of other people's website you will not be able to find out who submitted it, you will not be able to contact the submitter for source information, and for all you know the whole information on these gedcoms could be bogus. Or you might just find out it is your own. I am personally not a believer in hoarding other people's genealogy work for any reason, but some do not see anything wrong with it. Either way be careful if you download it, remember that just because it is online it does not make valid. Use it only as a guide. Hopefully you also have a good virus detection program just in case. I think these types of sites are good to help "guide" us through brick walls. Personally, I don't use any data directly from other's websites (or books or whatever)... But I have been very successful using others' data as a roadmap of sorts to find the actual proof in records. Anyone who just uses other people's gathered data without re-proving it, is being very foolish, IMO. Anybody with lines from somewhere else can try their luck with a Google search as follows, quotation marks and all: "2 PLAC" AncestralTown filetype:ged where you replace Ancestral Town with your ancestral town name.
