Pat, No we did not view any cemetery records. The visit to the cemetery was not planned. We just happened upon it while walking. The cemetery was small and surrounded by a wall. For some graves, the markers were an iron fence with a flat metal sign with the name, etc. of the deceased painted on it. There was a glass encloses for mementoes. Apparently these markers are reused. To one side of the cemetery were a row of stone crypts with multiple plaques giving names of deceased persons. This appears to be where the remains are moved when a burial site is needed for a newly deceased person. David, I now wish I had gone ahead and visited the cemetery in the Calheta. Thank you for your input.
