OK-With the help of Ed,(who finally is awake!!), I think we may have figured this out - once I am able to access the images on Nesos, and see the actually HHN Monizes titulo. I should be able to confirm. If I cannot, I will ask Pat to copy and sent the ACTUAL HHN Moniz titulo as she offered earlier. To explain-the copy of this Moniz titulo, which is what I thought I was looking at, which I thought is was one I had printed off Nesos, is actually one I got elsewehere (from someone's website-looks much like the actual titulo) Looks like they have a line and indentations missing between the the marriage of Ignes Moniz and Joao Lourenco da Miranda,. and the Casou 2, vez com D. Joana Teixeira...which was actually referring to Vasco well above. So my "I only know genealogical Portuguese" shortened version is that Vasco, who was the 2nd son of Henrique and his 2nd wife Inez (title Monizes), he was the first in his family to come to the island, lived in Machico in a big house, died in Portugal at the house of his mother, instituted a morgado for his first son Garcia, he married three times,(yada yada), the third marriage was to Joana Teixeira. So, does everyone or anyone else show Joana Teixeira married twice, once to Joao Lourenco de Miranda (assuming I am reading that correctly) and 2nd to Vasco Martins Moniz (which is where I had her originally-only married once). If you do have her married twice, do you show any other sources besides these 2 (each of which only mention her being married once), Thanks!! Cece
