Dear List Members, A dear online friend, Prof. J. Donald Silva who taught English at the University of New Hampshire will be in Madeira until Feb 10th. On Jan. 8th @ 5:30 p.m. he will be giving a lecture at the Frederico de Freitas Museum called Popular Fiction in Madeira 1884-2009. It is 21 novels with scenes, story, or plot set in Madeira. On Jan 14th. he will be lecturing at the John Dos Passos Center in Ponta do Sol. The American Modernist Novel and John Dos Passos.
