I didn't have any info on Joao Barreto d'Amil, who married Antonia da Silva, nor his second marriage to D. Maria da Candelaria. Agueda Cesar and Capitao Bartolomeu Veloso de Lira are my direct line ancestors. When I was researching them using Conego Vaz' publication "Barretos, Do Arco, I didn't follow through with listing Joao Barreto de Amil, though now I do see him listed along with Agueda as being siblings... Thank you for pointing out Joao... I'll update my file to include him and his spouses. Titulo: Liras Vardas ? Do you know if Varda/s is a spelling variation of Vareda?
