I have been there quite a few times. The best part is that you have all the microfilms and books on hand so you can spend a few days going from film to film without paying the $5.50 fee for each since it is free out there. The only thing you pay for are copies. Was it worth the trip? Well we have family there and since it's a 14 hour car ride for us I just coordinate trips with family events. I know many people that will fly out there for a few days once or twice a year. Depending on how much research you want to do it may be worth your time.
