Tom, I noticed that on your site you have a Josefa Bettencourt born in Portugal and died in Madeira. Do you know her parents? I have a Josefa Bettencourt daughter of Francisco Martins and Mariana Bettencourt about the same time frame. Their children were Escolástica, Sebastião Martins, Josefa de Bettencourt and João Martins in São Roque.
