So it seems that if I send a personal cheque that is certified, it will clear though normal channels. I was using a bank draft in Euro and it was drawn on Munchen Germany not a bank in Portugal. Philip I ran into the same block with a personal cheque. I sent off 100 euro cheque for about 10 certificates which would more than adequately cover the research, copies and mailing charges, and that cheque was returned after 3 or 4 months.
