    3. I never added  my family to Ancestry I added it to Rootsweb but since Ancestry bought Rootsweb.... When I uploaded my tree I had the option of either making it public or having people contact me for information with no option to download. That is what I selected. I have found though that a couple of people have gone to the extreme of copying some of the branches in my tree and adding them to their database when they have no relatioship whatsoever to my branches. I know that because I contacted them. When it comes to pulling the tree off the site unless if Ancestry has specifically mentioned that once you upload it to their site it becomes their property then you should have the option to remove it. I do no longer subscribe to Ancestry so I don't have an answer to that question.   Take care     Luis Beal "Not to know what happened before we were born is to remain perpetually a child. For what is the worth of a human life unless it is woven into the life of our ancestors." 3. Basically the same was happening to me, before I, with the help of Cece made my tree Private...I've contact many tree owners, but only two have replied back to me...their linking to my family still remain incorrectly linked to mine. Another thing that "drives me crazy," with this site, is how people can have more than one tree, basically with each different tree having the same information...I can't understand why someone would do that... I can see having separate trees ie. one for paternal ancestors and another for maternal, but to have multiple tree with the same information, just doesn't make sense to me... The problem with multiple sites is that "the little green leaf," keeps appearing when additions are made to my site...when clicking on the "leaf," in hopes of linking with a "new relative," all those multiple sites appear, and that very often have no bearing or matching with my individuals information... I feel like all I'm doing is complaining with negative comments, but to give "credit," when "credit," is due, there are some very helpful "search," results supplied on Ancestry.com... 3. I cannot recall how I did it, but a couple of years ago I was able to delete the trees that I had submitted to Rootsweb. I think I contacted Rootsweb tech support to find out how to do it.
