    3. Hi Leonardo, Maria Pereira de Sequeira's father is Antonio Goncalves Sequeira, the same as is posted on your TribalPages...I have no other paternal ancestors for her. I have a copy of Maria's parents marriage document dated 1652 Sao Pedro...it's badly damaged, but I'll scan it and send it to your email address...     3. Hi Pat The book is I suppose a paper version of the digital database. I suspect that this was put together before the digital age. I bought it directly from the archive. They have it listed under publications and there are different volumes. This one is Indice dos Registos de Casamentos dos Concelhos Rurais. Apart from the listing of the marriages it does provide a few death notices, which now that I've checked the dates, seem to be quite recent (in genealogical terms) early 1900s - 1960s - still of interest? I think there is an earlier version of this book - a cousin picked one up at a antique book store in Madeira, and her version includes the baptism records. However, I think with the access available online I'm not sure it's worth the $50 - of course, if much of the registry you require isn't up yet, then perhaps it is.
