In it I show two daughters of John Drummond and Branca Affonco with the name Annes they are Caterina Annes and Izabel Annes Escorcio both born in Santa Cruz about the 1440's. Izabel married Joao Leira. Perhaps Branca was related to the Annes family. Also I have a Rodrigo Annes of Santa Cruz father of Izabel Rodrigues Andrada b abt 1488 both died in Calheta. Izabel married Pedro Berenguer Leminhana of Calheta. Also a Pedro Eannes married Izabel Goncalves dau. of Goncalo Airies Ferreira abt 1460 Scot Austin

    3. Good morning Leandro: I have heard of the book but have not seen it. I am in USA and I have not seen it here. I have also unsuccessfully tried to get the book "Familias de Gaula". Sigh... always a struggle but worth the effort. I access the films through a LDS library in my city. It is getting harder and harder to get the films as the delays from order to receipt are now taking multiple months. The main library here will also order the films but the delay also pertains to them. Sorry I could not be of more assistance. 3. I am sorry Leandro- I got excited because I have Enes in my ancestors. I double checked and there is no one with that name combination in that time in Gaula. The earliest records I have seen from Gaula are the 1560s and they are SO hard to read but positively no Fernao Enes/Anes. I don't know how positive you are about the first names you have. After I checked what I had, I looked on the archive data base and I saw a Francisco Anes and Isabel Afonso from Se in Funchal 1547. There is also a Francisco and Catarina from the Se in 1544. The two Fernao de Anes I found married two Marias in the 1574 and a Fernando Anes married Gracia Afonso in Se in Funchal in 1547. Maybe one or more of these will help you.
