    3. > Hello, My name is Jim Hanna and I am researching my Hannah ancestors who were Seceder Presbyterians. I know that hey were part of Rev. Robert Armstrong's congregation at Massie's Creek in Cedarville, near Xenia in Greene County, Ohio in the early 1800's. Armstrong had brought a group of people from his congregations in Kentucky around 1803 because of their strong feeling against slavery in the southern and border states. My ancestors, Robert Hannah, and his future wife, Elizabeth Mooney, moved to Ohio around that time. Mooney had come from Kentucky with Armstrong I think, but I'm not sure about Robert. I think he was in Blount Co., Tennessee around 1799-1800 with a group of Seceders there, perhaps Big Springs congregation, which had no permanent pastor. If anyone has any info on any of this, i.e. Armstrong, Seceders in Tennessee or Kentucky, Mooneys in Kentucky, or the Hannahs in Tennessee or Greene Co. Ohio, etc. I would love to hear from you. Thanks, Jim Hanna
