Good Afternoon Everyone, My name is Emma Cronin and I am the new list admin for the Presbyterian mail list. My interest in the Presbyterian church history stems from my Carnahan family. Rev. John Carnahan is said to have preached the first sermon in the Territory of Arkansas about 1812. He was active in the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. I also thought you might like a bit of an update on the list. At the present time there are 166 subscribers to the Presbyterian mail list. I encourage all of you to post your queries and share information. As you find others also interested in this topic please invite them to join the list as well. If you have any questions or concerns about the list please contact me at: _presbyterian-admin@rootsweb.com_ (mailto:presbyterian-admin@rootsweb.com) . Take care and have a great week. Greetings Emma, I'm not researching Carnahan's, but I have worked around our county quite a bit, through the cemeteries. We have early ministers by that name too. I'm in Tippecanoe County, Indiana. You can browse this township page and find a few.
