Catherine, Who is your in-law with the same sur name? Where were they and when? As near as I can tell mine moved from TN 1850 census to MO 1870census. There may have been some older children that were of age when they moved who would have stayed behind. They had a John he was 21 in the 1850 census, Samuel G. age 14, Mary 11, Tabitha age 9 and Emmantha 1yr. that do not appear in the 1870 census in Mo. They obviously either grew up or succumbed to an illness. Are any of these the one who married into your Wilson line?
