As I have just completed filling out the Registration Form for the Pennington Research Association, Inc. Annual Meeting & Reunion in Richmond, IN August 5-7, 2004, I am hoping that all of you are getting ready to join us. (There are some deadlines for registration) This national organization has this wonderful opportunity to gather only once a year to greet old friends and meet new ones. Those of us who attend on a regular basis always come home energized about the PRA and about our research of the Pennington families. This is a working, learning, social few days with people of similar goals. We can be very proud of the efforts of our organization (who are all volunteers) in searching and researching. During the past few years your officers have done a good job of continuing the goals of our founder, Bee Holmes. . This is a very special year as we dedicate the Pennington Archives at Earlham College and celebrate the 20 years since we formally became an Association. In the past couple of years we have become incorporated as a 501 (c)3 not for profit entity. The DNA project is outstanding and from it we are learning many new possible connections. We are volunteers working to help each other all over this country, England and Canada. Come join us for three productive and fun days. Visit us at www.penningtonresearch.org for specific information about the Reunion. I look forward to seeing you in Indiana. Barbara W.
