Hi Debbie, I can't help with Dr. Pennington but I can tell you that Moorefield is in Hardy County today and just south of Hampshire. I think back in the 1760's Hardy County was part of Hampshire County. Both of these counties had Penningtons in them. Can you tell us where you found this "Dr. Pennington"? Maybe that will give us a clue of where else we can check or follow-up on. Thanks for posting...
