I have had to make a small but important change to my latest report from the DNA Study. This happened because we got some more results back which made it clear that the person we thought was possibly group 26 was probably not from group 26. We got a result back from someone who is quite sure they are group 26 and they do not match anyone yet tested in our study. I have to correct this publicly at this time since that previous match between group 26 and groups 9,19 and 29 is incorrect. In fact that supposed group 26 person is probably just a member of groups 9,19 or 29. It is important that we release this information as soon as we learn about it so that no one spends too much time and money trying to prove that group 26 is related to groups 9,19 and 29. Exciting revelations from the DNA Study are expected in the next couple of months and these will be fully discussed at the PRA reunion in Richmond Indiana Aug. 5-7th. Nick P.
