Aargh! I totally forgot about History Detectives. I received another document that I had been waiting for via snail mail and got excited to finally have names of some elusive ancestors. I was online doing research for these new ancestors, when I found out that my paternal line goes back to Squire Boone. My ancestor, Israel Boone (one of Squire and Sarah Morgan's sons) was evidently Daniel Boone's brother. Can you believe it? All this time and I had no idea. I think there is a Pennington connection with the Boone family, too. I also found a website that said President Lincoln married a Boone, too. Anybody know about this? Anyway, I think this was a good excuse to forget about the show. I hope to catch History Detectives next week. Have a great week! Remember the History Detectives air tonight on your local PBS channel. This one is about a DE man with a 100 year old board game / Monopoly and someone with WWII postcards. Oh My Dana, Excellent reason to miss the program. Boy, we have our work cut out for us. Your other connection will be to Family Group 4 - Richard Pennington married Hannah Boone, sister of Daniel Boone. Have you been able to find out how this involves Abraham yet? As for your other email about Abraham, I have started to reply when I was interrupted and needed a break for my program. But I will get back to you on him in the morning. Have a good night Rene'e Davis ARD, Family Groups PRA - Group 9 Pennington Research Association, Inc. www.penningtonresearch.org ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, June 28, 2004 10:06 PM Subject: Re: Reminder > Aargh!
