    2. Gene Pennington
    3. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security has created an e-mail alert system to keep both non-technical and technical users informed about potential online threats. The U.S. Computer Emergency Readiness Team (CERT) has created a National Cyber Alert System that you can sign up for and receive e-mail notices of computer threats such as viruses and worms. You can sign up to receive "... timely information about current and emerging threats and vulnerabilities as well as advice about protecting your computer and networks." To sign up to receive this information via email, go to --> http://www.us-cert.gov/cas/index.html#non-tech . You can choose to receive either "Technical Alerts" (for experienced PC users and system administrators) or "Non-Technical Alerts" (Common language, overall concepts for home and corporate computer users). Gene Pennington (Group 7) Chairman Research Director Pennington Research Association, Inc. www.PenningtonResearch.org
