Nell, I apologize for not answering sooner. Joshua Pennington is supposed to be a son of Micajah Pennington, Jr, grandson of Micajah Pennington and Rachel Jones. The mother is unknown. It is somewhat of a disputed line. It would be great if someone who is descended from Joshua could be tested for DNA. Joshua Pennington was married to Nancy Sparks and had 11 known children. He and his family moved to Johnson Co., KY and most of them are buried there!
