Phyllis: If you're referring to the Allen Co. Library, I can't answer your question. However, if you're referring to the new Pennington Research Association Library/Archive at Earlham College, the answer is probably yes and no. The reason I don't have a specific answer is that since the new Library/Archive opened, all we've been able to do is to start collecting material and send it to the Library/Archive. Most of the material, if not all of it, has not yet been indexed. While Jasper Green Pennington, our Archivist, has an inventory of the material, it is not broken down into specific Family Groups and/or individuals by Groups. For example, I sent several boxes of material that contained many family histories but were not indexed by specific Family Groups. There were also drawings, publications of the Pennington Research Association (indexes, lists) and other research material. In addition, the material at the new Library/Archive is not yet ready for public use. One of the main purposes of having our meeting this year at the new Library/Archive was to have some "hands on" work sessions where we would help get the material ready for indexing so it can be used. I hope I've answered your question. If not, please let me know. Gene Pennington (Group 7) Chairman Research Director Pennington Research Association, Inc. www.PenningtonResearch.org
