Dear Darlene, I am the former Group Leader for Group 12, Samuel Pennington who married Elizabeth Anderson. I did some research in NC and VA, finding bits and pieces. I had intended to have this on the PRA website but an unfortunate situation led me to leave PRA prior to finishing the work. I believe the info on the Group website is the info that had been submitted for the JFMF some years earlier. I have (somewhere in this paper mess) a land record for Samuel that had been hand copied from the original and was held in the Courthouse. I also have a Will for an Anderson, where Samuel and a son were mentioned. I have to dig out Samuel's family from my FTW files so I can share more accurately. It is good to see Samuel's name brought up again. I am not of this line, so far as I know at this point. I am most likely a descendant of Wells Pennington, Group 32, which is led by Bill Pennington of FL. I haven't done much gen work lately. My health is still slowly declining, tho gaining speed these days. I have been having minor strokes and live in fear of the "big one". Hi to all my gen buddies on this list, Barb T
