Hi Barb, So glad to hear from you! Could you give me a run-down of the progress of Group 12 and the strategy you used to pull the Group 12 researchers and the information together? I have alot of research to do for Samuel and Elizabeth. I'm thinking that if I knew how you proceeded and your accomplishments with the group I could use what you've already done to set up a plan for the Group. If you able to locate documents for Samuel or Elizabeth it would be a big help and much appreciated. I haven't officially been named the Group Leader for the group; hopefully that will come in a few days. I did some research in NC and VA, finding bits and pieces. I had intended to have this on the PRA website but an unfortunate situation led me to leave PRA prior to finishing the work. I have (somewhere in this paper mess) a land record for Samuel that had been hand copied from the original and was held in the Courthouse. I also have a Will for an Anderson, where Samuel and a son were mentioned. I have to dig out Samuel's family from my FTW files so I can share more accurately. It is good to see Samuel's name brought up again. I am not of this line, so far as I know at this point. I am most likely a descendant of Wells Pennington, Group 32, which is led by Bill Pennington of FL. I haven't done much gen work lately.
