I am interested in the family of Samuel Pennington and Elizabeth Anderson, Group 12 on the PRA website. Most of the information I know about Samuel is on the PRA website at http://www.penningtonresearch.org/family_groups/fg2000-12.htm. I am in the process of documenting Samuel's children and their families in the census records. Has anyone done research on Land records for Samuel or his children? I would like to know if he owned land and where. Elizabeth Anderson, Samuel's wife, was the daughter of William Anderson and Catherine Walling. Elizabeth was a sister to Stephen Anderson which makes her my husband's 3rd greataunt and Samuel Pennington his 3rd greatuncle. I knew that Elizabeth Anderson married a Samuel Pennington but didn't have much information to go on as to who he was and how he might be related, or not, to the Micajah Pennington family.
