If you think it would be helpful, please let me know. My Pennington connection is a brick wall - Ruth Pennington, who married Henry Lamb in NC. They moved to Floyd Co., IN in 1815. Ruth's parentage has never been proven by the family researchers with whom I am in touch. She was said to be the daughter of Levi Pennington, but I cannot establish that connection. A theory is that she was perhaps an orphan who was taken in by someone else.
