Found proof that Lucretia who married John Stuart/Steward/Stewart of Sussex Co, VA, was indeed a Pennington. She was the daughter of John Pennington whose will of 1773 in Sussex Co, VA, named two married daughters and Lucretia Pennington. In settlement of John Pennington's estate in 1793, Lucretia is named as Lucretia Stewart. Gary Williams, Clerk of Circuit Court of Sussex Co, VA, provided papers to prove this mystery. Peggy A.
