    3. Georgia and everyone else, If you are having problems finding info - remember that the first page is going have the copyright info, the PRA seal, and several other categories running down the page. The main categories that you have to keep track of will be News, Photos, and Online Family Trees. Most of the new information and most interesting information will be in these areas. The JFMF files and gedcoms are in the Online Family Trees. If you haven't used these sites before - spend some time wandering around. Remember that it will take a little bit to learn where things are and the fastest way to get where you want. Everyone will have a bit of a learning curve - including myself! So be patient and let me know when you have problems and I will try to help as best I can! 3. Hey Gang, When you log into myfamily.com, the front page will display. On the left above the copyright, there is headlines, top line (small print) Front Page; Addresses, Calendars, Chat, Family Trees, File Cabinet. All of the Family Trees for each of the PRA Family Groups are listed when you click 'Family Trees'. Further down the list you will find JFMF-2003. Any of these files, you as members can click and open each file, look or even download. If you suspect that you may belong a to a particular Family Group, open the Grp. number and do a "search" (toward the middle to the tool menu) for your ancestor. If you find a close match, click on the name (it will change colors) and then your can click on 'Story" and it is very easy reading. I hope this helps some of you. As all of us at the PRA have discussed on the mailing list, the JFMF is a huge reference file of over 50,000 Pennington and other surnames. It has taken us over two years to decide how we can best share the information with members ; find a reasonable and timely way to keep our Group Family Files updated by our Group Leaders. As we have mentioned the JFMF is only a reference tool and was started many years ago. Because of it's age, outdated or erroneous material submitted without sources, we chose to have our Group Leaders dissect (if that is the correct word) the JFMF. While the JFMF was a starting point for most of our Family Files, we have began the slow process of corrections, additions, source recording, etc. in our Group Files by the Group Leaders. Instead of one person (Carmen) taking sometimes a year to get the enormous amount of data for the family file (JFMF) updated, our Group Leaders are taking the responsibility to update the data for their respective groups. Think of it as, 32 (Family Groups) JFMFs instead of one (1) Master JFMF. In other words, we are trying to make the Family Group Files the most accurate and updated documentation of the Pennington Families possible for our members. I hope this has helped you. As mentioned, when we were approaching the opening of the new website - we still have some 'bugs' to work out and we have some "new varmints" showing up. But all of these areas will be 'exterminated' with a little patience. Have a fun, hunting weekend.
