    3. Forwarded from another list: There are Penningtons to be found in Rockingham County. The Land records begin with 1980. I could not find a way to get back to the 1827 records in Rockingham County. I have not researched the other counties at this time. I hope this helps someone. Virginia The following New Hampshire counties have their Registry of Deeds on the web: Belknap, Cheshire, Hillsborough, Rockingham, Stafford, and Sullivan. Land records going back to 1827 have been placed on the Internet as part of a 10-year project at <http://www.nhdeeds.com>. An up-to-date browser is essential. You will be required to click on an "accept agreement" link. The application runs in a Java applet, so it could take 30 seconds or more to download.

    3. HI Virginia, Thanks for the link. I sure wish all of the other states would catch up with technology on the web. Around here the libraries only have abstractes of the wills unless you are lucky enough to find a LDS film for the area - I want the 'real mccoy". Thanks for sharing.
