Hi Donna, I have a couple of Richards and Elijah's. Can you narrow down a time period ? My Family Group 9 Pennington migrated from MD into VA and WV 1600-1750. I can tell you that I don't have any Rowsey's in the tree as yet. Perhaps you are a new branch. Pendleton Cty. is right on the VA border next to Rockingham VA in 1880 where some of our Pennington ancestors traveled through going west. Hampshire Cty. is where most of my recent ancestors stayed and farmed. Lincoln Cty. is on the western border of WV. 1880. I have not worked in Lincoln Cty. yet for kin. If you can narrow the time factor perhaps we can help you further. Let us know.
